Wishful Thinking has partnered with a diverse range of clients. Please click on the numbers below to review a few of our success stories.
THE WISH: spice up new interest in a low-involvement food category
OUR THINKING: We engaged our international network of trusted Globescouts—writers, chefs, food stylistas—to scout intriguing stimuli in their local shops and markets. During a weeklong on-line session, scouts and clients posted ideas and built on each other's thinking. Then WT refined these ideas and created concept boards for consumer feedback, opening up several new possibilities for market expansion and directions.

THE WISH: create a 5-year global innovation plan for a division of an international confections company
OUR THINKING: With interpreters by our side, we headed to Russia and China for a series of tours, interviews with experts, and ethnographies. What we learned helped us identify real insights, future drill sites, and compelling new product ideas. Over half of our concepts scored in the top 20% of AcuPoll's database and will guide future product development for the division.

THE WISH: Develop and test an array of concepts and packages for a new premium beverage line extension... in three weeks.
OUR THINKING: We worked fast, assembling a team of designers, mixologists and writers for an intense, day-long ideation session. The drink-meisters mixed products in real time; the designers presented provocative visual imagery. Together, the whole WT team combed other categories for inspiration around names, images, benefits — then wrote concepts. p.s. Naked Breeze is the most successful product launch within the last 2 years.

THE WISH: give us an innovation roadmap that both our brand and innovation teams can embrace
OUR THINKING: We got both groups in a room for three hours, and had them share priorities based on their business objectives, best current consumer thinking, plus a dash of intuition. In real time, WT graphic wizards drew a simple visual map of this complex discussion; the teams "saw" their options, which helped build alignment and consensus around a path.

THE WISH: Teach something new at the Creative Problem Solving Conference
OUR THINKING: Using cognitive and somatic learning theories, we created a hands-on interactive workshop designed to stimulate ideas and foster creativity using environment and space. It's called An Integrated Approach: Inspired Problem Solving Through Mind, Body, People and Place.
